By purchasing tickets, making a donation, or attending the Queensland Mack Muster (“Event”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. General
Queensland Mack Muster (“we”, “our”, “us”) reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
Your continued use of our website or attendance at the Event constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Tickets and Entry
– All tickets are sold subject to availability.
– Tickets must be purchased via our official website using Event Tickets and/or WooCommerce.
– Proof of purchase or valid ticket (including digital tickets) may be required for entry.
– Entry may be refused if tickets are invalid, duplicated, or purchased through unauthorised sources.
– A gold coin donation may apply to public entry where advertised.
3. Pricing and Payments
– All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
– Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
– By providing payment details, you warrant that you are authorised to use the payment method.
– We do not store full credit card details.
4. Refunds and Cancellations
– All ticket sales are final and non-refundable except as required under Australian Consumer Law.
– If the Event is cancelled, postponed, or significantly changed, we may offer a refund, credit, or transfer at our discretion.
– Refund requests must be submitted in writing to our contact email.
5. Event Changes
We reserve the right to change event details including date, time, location, program, or activities without prior notice where necessary.
6. Conduct and Safety
– Attendees must follow all directions from event staff and officials.
– Dangerous, reckless, or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
– We reserve the right to remove any person from the Event without refund for inappropriate behaviour.
7. Assumption of Risk
Attendance at the Event is at your own risk. The event involves vehicles, machinery and outdoor conditions.
To the extent permitted by law, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with attending the Event.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Queensland Mack Muster is not liable for:
– Personal injury or death
– Loss or damage to personal property
– Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Photography and Media
By attending the Event, you consent to being photographed or filmed.
We may use this material for promotional, marketing, and media purposes without compensation.
10. Donations
– Donations made via our website (WP Donate) are voluntary and non-refundable.
– Funds raised will be distributed to the nominated causes or charities.
11. Third-Party Services
We use third-party platforms including WordPress, Event Tickets, WooCommerce, Stripe, Google Forms, and Google Analytics.
Use of these services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
12. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
